This indie green-beauty body care business was around for roughly a year before I joined. A tiny company, they engaged in the growing green beauty conversation.
We began by re-branding. Originally named “Box Intimate Wipes," the name limited usage although customers constantly evangelized the versatility of the towelettes. "Box Naturals” was born.
From there, change rippled out. New tone of voice, new packaging, new photography, new website and social media. We formed brand partnerships, collaborated with influencers, created a wholesale site with separate email marketing, exhibited at trade shows and so much more. This was truly an education in growing a brand from the ground up.
With a media spend of roughly zero dollars, the new branding, strategy, email and social media campaigns grew the business over 600% in less than two years.
